Located close to Oxford Street station the project involved the construction behind a retained facade of a new mixed-use development to accommodate flexible retail, a restaurant on the lower ground and part of the ground floors, and office space on upper floors.
The site included the combining of 58-60 Berners Street, 14-17 Wells Street, 13 -15 Eastcastle Street and 1 Wells Mews to provide approximately 7000m² of floor area in the new development.
Works include the construction of a two-level RC basement box, installation of waterproofing, the construction of an RC raft slab, two 8 level traditional concrete cores, fair face RC walls & columns, fair face suspended slabs; and the installation of pre-cast stairs and landings.
